Merida NINETY-SIX 400

The Merida Ninety-Six 400 Silk Black 2026 is the accessible entry point into full-suspension cross-country. Around 15.1 kg, it takes on everything from XC races to long days in the mountains, in full-suspension comfort and without stretching the budget.

The aluminium frame uses Merida's proven P-FLEX technology: a flexstay design that removes the traditional seatstay pivot in favour of controlled material flex. The result is 110 mm of rear travel with less weight, less maintenance and more frame stiffness. The Ninety-Six inherits the race genes of Merida's World Cup XC and marathon machine, in a build made accessible to more riders.

The SR Suntour Raidon34 R-2CR Air fork provides 120 mm of travel with remote lockout, paired with an SR Suntour Edge LOR rear shock, also lockable: efficiency on climbs, comfort on descents. The Shimano Deore 12-speed 1x drivetrain, with its 10-51T cassette, shifts precisely across a wide range, while Shimano MT200 hydraulic disc brakes with 180 mm rotors handle stopping. A Merida dropper post, with travel matched to frame size, completes the package.
