Description
The Merida NINETY-SIX RC 5000 is a full-suspension mountain bike built for cross-country and marathon riding. Its carbon CF4 frame uses the P-FLEX rear end, a pivotless design that favours pedalling stiffness while still absorbing trail chatter, delivering 100 mm of travel front and rear.
The RockShox Reba RL fork comes with remote lockout, as does the RockShox SID Deluxe Select+ rear shock — letting you switch between an efficient pedalling platform and a plusher setup for technical descents. The Shimano XT M8100 Shadow+ 1x12 drivetrain paired with a Shimano Deore M6100 cassette covers a wide gear range, while Shimano SLX hydraulic disc brakes deliver precise, progressive stopping power in any condition.
Comfort and versatility also come from the Merida Expert TR telescopic dropper post with remote lockout, handy for adjusting your position on the fly, and Maxxis Rekon Race 29x2.25'' EXO TR tyres mounted on 29-inch wheels. Available in sizes S, M, L and XL in Dark Strawberry / Black, with a claimed weight of 12.2 kg.
