Merida REACTO 8000

The Merida REACTO 8000 is a purpose-built aero road bike for riders who race or simply refuse to compromise on speed. The Merida Reacto CF3 IV full-carbon frame is shaped to minimise aerodynamic drag, while the matching carbon fork features Disc Cooler technology: CNC-machined aluminium fins attached to the fork that draw heat away from the brake rotor during sustained hard braking – a practical advantage on mountain descents or technical courses.

Shifting is handled by the Shimano Ultegra Di2 electronic 2x12-speed groupset. Unlike mechanical systems, every gear change is triggered electronically – instant, precise, and maintenance-light. The 11-30T cassette paired with a 52-36T chainset covers a wide enough range for climbing and high-speed flat riding alike. The Reynolds AR60 carbon wheels, with a 60 mm rim profile, add aerodynamic efficiency where it counts most: on flat roads and rolling terrain.

The Vision Metron 5D ACR EVO integrated carbon cockpit merges handlebar and stem into a single unit with fully internal cable routing (Wire Port integration). The result is a clean, aerodynamic front end with no external cables to generate drag. At the rear, the Merida Team CW aero carbon seatpost with 15 mm setback keeps the profile consistent from front to back.

Available in five sizes (XS to XL) in Rainbow Gunmetal Grey (Silver), the REACTO 8000 rolls on 28 mm tyres for a balance of comfort and performance. Clearance for up to 700×30c tyres gives some flexibility for rougher roads. The frame carries a lifetime warranty.
