The Merida Scultura 5000 is a road bike built around a carbon frame for riders who want genuine performance at a realistic price point. The Scultura CF3 V carbon frame — around 997 g in size M — is stiff where it counts, translating your power into forward motion whether you're climbing, sprinting, or simply covering ground efficiently.

At the heart of the drivetrain is the Shimano 105 Di2 electronic groupset with 2x12 speeds. Electronic shifting means your gears change instantly and accurately with a light button press — no cables to stretch, no barrel adjusters to tweak mid-ride. The 11-34 cassette provides a wide range of gears suited to both hilly terrain and long flat rides.

Stopping is handled by Shimano 105 hydraulic disc brakes, offering progressive and powerful modulation regardless of weather. The Vision Team 35 Clincher Disc wheels (35 mm rim depth, Tubeless Ready, 19 mm internal width) paired with Continental Grand Prix 700x28C tyres deliver a fast yet comfortable ride feel.

Full internal cable routing gives the Scultura 5000 a clean aesthetic and added protection from the elements. Tyre clearance up to 700x30C adds a degree of versatility. Available in sizes S, M, L and XL.

The Shimano 105 Di2 marks the arrival of electronic transmission in the 105 range, renowned for its excellent performance/price ratio. Designed for demanding cyclists, it offers fast, precise and reliable gear changes, with the ease of use typical of Shimano electronic groupsets. Thanks to Di2 (Digital Integrated Intelligence) technology, the derailleurs are electronically actuated, guaranteeing smooth and consistent gear changes, even under heavy load. A 400 mm² platform, 60 mm wide and finished in stainless steel, gives your foot a solid, consistent base — meaning more of your effort goes into moving the bike forward. The combined stack height of 17.8 mm (pedal and cleat) keeps you close to the axle for a natural riding position, suitable for both leisure rides and regular training.
The standard coil spring retention system adjusts between 8 and 12 Nm: tighten it if you want a positive, locked-in feel; ease it off if you prefer a quicker, less forceful release. The included grey KEO Grip cleats (4.5° float) allow a slight heel pivot on each stroke, which helps reduce knee strain over longer rides. If you need a fixed position (0°) or more freedom of movement (9°), compatible cleats are available separately.
The Look KEO 3-bolt interface is widely supported across road cycling shoes, making these pedals a straightforward upgrade or replacement choice.
