The Merida Scultura Endurance 4000 Starfield Purple 2026 is far from a conventional entry-level carbon bike. At 9.3 kg, it is the most affordable carbon version of the Scultura Endurance range, and it uses exactly the same frame as the higher-end models.

That CF3 carbon frame combines low weight and stiffness with genuine long-distance comfort. Merida shapes the seatstays and chainstays to act like leaf springs, absorbing road buzz. Its endurance geometry, with a longer head tube, slacker head angle and slightly longer wheelbase, delivers a relaxed position and reassuring stability at speed. The Wire Port cable management system keeps the cockpit clean and uncluttered.

The Shimano 105 mechanical 12-speed groupset pairs a 50-34 compact chainset with an 11-34 cassette: a wide range covering climbs and fast flat sections alike. Its hydraulic disc brakes, fitted with CNC-machined Disc Cooler fins, limit heat build-up on long descents. There is clearance for tyres up to 35c (32c with mudguards, which the frame accepts), and the bike comes with Maxxis Re-Fuse 32 mm rubber on tubeless-ready Merida Expert SL III wheels.

Ideal for riders who want to spend long hours in the saddle in comfort, on country roads and long-distance outings, or to build a year-round road bike with mudguards fitted.
