Description
The Moustache Clutch 160.7 is an electric mountain bike built around a clean, purposeful idea: put the technology where it can't get damaged. The Pinion MGU E1.12 motor and gearbox unit sits inside the bottom bracket shell, delivering 85 Nm and 600 W while eliminating the exposed derailleur entirely. The 780 Wh battery is fully integrated into the 6061 aluminium frame and remains removable for charging — a practical detail for riders who store their bike away from a power outlet.
The Mullet configuration pairs a 29" front wheel with a 27.5" rear. In practice, this means the front wheel rolls over obstacles more smoothly while the shorter rear wheel tightens the handling in switchbacks and tight corners. Moustache-branded asymmetric double-wall alloy rims come tubeless-ready out of the box (valves and tape included), wrapped in Maxxis Assegai 2.5" tyres for reliable traction on loose or wet terrain. A 64.2° head angle and 450 mm chainstays round out a geometry designed to feel stable at speed.
The RockShox Domain R fork (DebonAir spring, 170 mm travel, external rebound adjustment) pairs with a RockShox Super Deluxe Select rear shock (160 mm travel, Moustache tune) to deliver a suspension setup that works well without constant tinkering. Stopping duties go to Magura MT5 brakes — four pistons, MDR-C 203 mm rotors front and rear — a combination known for consistent feel even after prolonged braking.
The FIT Master Node Display sits flush in the top tube, keeping the cockpit clean. The Acros AZF-725 headset includes an integrated multi-tool in the fork steerer — a small but telling sign of how thoroughly this bike has been thought through. Available in S, M, L and XL in Slab Grey glossy.
