Gravel riding has a stubborn reputation: high frame, stretched-out position, reserved for those in the know. The Dimanche 29 Gravel 2 DropBar OPEN pushes back with an open frame. You step through without swinging a leg over — a detail that changes everything when you're leaving the office in a coat, or putting a foot down at every junction.
The frame also opens gravel up to smaller riders: three sizes, XS, S and M, covering heights from 1.43 m to 1.81 m. The gravel handlebar keeps its short drop and reach, so the lower positions stay genuinely usable even without drop-bar experience.
The Bosch Performance SX motor (55 Nm) supports your pedalling rather than replacing it, and the frame-integrated Bosch CompactTube 400 Wh battery keeps the whole thing at 18.1 kg — light for an e-bike, and you feel it the moment you accelerate or lift it. The Bosch Purion 200 display shows the essentials from one corner of the bars.
On tracks, the Antishock stem and its 20 mm of travel absorb vibration before it reaches your arms, while the telescopic suspension seatpost and high-volume tyres take care of the rest. The Shimano CUES drivetrain and its 11-48 cassette give you the range for steep pitches, and the Shimano MT200 hydraulic disc brakes (180 mm front, 160 mm rear) respond just the same in the wet.
