The Riese & Müller Charger5 Mixte Pinion HS is a speed pedelec built around a clean, integrated design that prioritises daily usability. The Pinion E1.12 Speed MGU combines the motor and gearbox into a single centrally mounted unit, delivering smooth assistance up to 45 km/h — enough to replace a car for many commuters.

The Fit BAT Tubepack 800 Wh battery sits neatly inside the frame, keeping the bike's profile clean while providing generous range across multiple days of riding. The aluminium Mixte frame — with its lowered top tube — makes mounting and dismounting straightforward, especially when carrying luggage on the Riese & Müller MIK HD rear rack, which is compatible with child seats, panniers and baskets.

The Gates Carbon Drive CDX belt paired with the 12-speed Pinion gearbox removes the chain from the equation entirely: no oiling, no stretching, no snapping. Gears can be changed at a full stop, which extends the life of the drivetrain. Stopping power comes from Magura MT4 (front) and MT5 (rear) hydraulic disc brakes, reliable in wet or dry conditions, while the Fox AWL 34 fork with 100 mm of travel takes the edge off potholes and tram tracks.

Security comes as standard: an ABUS Granit Xplus lock with a 130 cm chain, a built-in RX Connect chip for GPS tracking and connected alarm, plus Supernova M99 Mini Pro-45 front and Supernova TL3 Pro S rear lighting with integrated brake light. Available in sizes S, M and L, including in Slate Grey.
