Description
The Riese & Müller Delite5 Pinion HS is a full-suspension speed pedelec aimed at riders who want genuine performance without sacrificing comfort or reliability. The Pinion E1.12 Speed MGU motor delivers 85 Nm of torque and sustains assistance up to 45 km/h, making it equally at home on fast urban commutes and longer mixed-terrain rides. Note that as an S-Pedelec, registration requirements apply depending on your country.
The drivetrain sets it apart from conventional e-bikes: a 12-speed Pinion MGU gearbox sits inside the motor unit itself, paired with a Gates CDX carbon belt instead of a chain. That means no derailleurs, no chain lube, and effortless gear changes even when stationary — a genuine advantage in stop-and-go city traffic.
The aluminium frame — built in Portugal using up to 38% ASI-certified recycled aluminium — houses a FIT BAT Tubepack 800 Wh battery neatly integrated into the downtube and removable for charging away from the bike. Full Fox suspension (Fox AWL 34 Air fork, 120 mm travel; Fox Float Rhythm SV rear shock) takes the edge off rough roads and keeps handling predictable at speed. The X-Fusion Manic dropper seatpost lets you adjust saddle height on the fly to match the terrain.
Safety at 45 km/h is handled by Supernova lighting front and rear (M99 Mini Pro-45 headlight, TL3 Pro S tail light with brake function) and Tektro TRP HD-EU835 hydraulic disc brakes. The built-in RX Chip adds GPS tracking, a motion alarm and ride statistics through the RX Connect app. Available in Amber in frame sizes 47, 51 and 56 cm.
