The Tern GSD P00 Gen 3 is a compact electric longtail cargo bike built for everyday urban use — school drop-offs, market runs, commutes — without the bulk of a full-size cargo bike. Its MultiTruss patented 6061 aluminium frame is DIN 79010 certified for a total system weight of 210 kg, so children on the back with a loaded pannier are well within its capacity.

The Bosch Cargo Line motor produces 85 Nm of torque with up to 400% electric assistance. In practice, that means loaded climbs feel manageable and pulling away at traffic lights is easy. The Bosch PowerPack 545 Wh battery delivers 45 to 98 km of range depending on load and terrain, swaps out quickly thanks to the Fast Swap system, and a second battery slot lets you extend range further on demand.

The drivetrain pairs a Gates Carbon Drive CDX belt — clean, silent, low-maintenance — with an Enviolo Heavy Duty continuously variable hub. There are no gears to count, no derailleur to tune: you simply twist and the resistance adjusts. The Magura MT5 hydraulic brakes with 4-piston calipers and 180 mm rotors give you the stopping power this kind of load demands.

A custom Suntour suspension fork (50 mm travel) smooths out cobblestones and kerb drops. Integrated Ignis front light, RearStop brake light, an ABUS or AXA lock sharing the same key as the battery, and the Atlas Lockstand Gen 2 kickstand all come as standard. Available in Satin Black & Grey.

Mounted directly on the frame tube, it can be removed in one move for charging at home or in the office — without having to move the bike. With 545 Wh of capacity, it largely covers everyday needs and medium-distance outings. Positioned near the bike's center of gravity, it guarantees natural and balanced driving behavior, without weighing down the steering or unbalancing the mount. Fully compatible with the Bosch Smart System, it benefits from all the intelligence of the Bosch ecosystem for optimal energy management.
