The Tern NBD S5iRBN is an urban e-bike built around a patented 6061-aluminium step-through frame, EFBE Tri-Test certified for a total load of 140 kg. The 20-inch wheels and low standover height make it easy to mount and dismount for riders between 147 and 190 cm — no awkward stretching required.

Power comes from a Bosch Performance Line motor producing 65 Nm of torque and up to 300 % assistance, controlled through the Bosch Intuvia display with 4 riding modes including a walk-assist function — handy when navigating a loaded bike through a busy market or a tight car park. The Bosch PowerPack 500 Wh battery delivers between 51 and 118 km of range depending on terrain and assist level.

The drivetrain pairs a Shimano Nexus Inter-5E hub with a Gates Carbon Drive CDX belt: no chain to lube, no derailleur to adjust, just smooth and clean riding every day. Magura MT4 hydraulic brakes provide consistent stopping power in all weather, while the Tern RideEasy air-cartridge suspension seatpost smooths out cobblestones and potholes without adding bulk.
