The 1×8 Shimano Altus drivetrain with trigger shifter keeps things simple, and Shimano hydraulic disc brakes provide reliable stopping power even when heavily loaded and riding fast.
Practicality is the whole point: the extra-long rear rack carries 50 kg (plus another 20 kg with the optional front rack), and a big range of kid- and cargo-carrying accessories lets you build your perfect setup for the school run, the groceries or the dog.
