Velo de ville E-FOLDY Orange

The Velo de Ville E-FOLDY is a compact electric folding bike designed around the reality of mixed commutes — part cycling, part public transport, part storage in tight spaces. Its aluminium frame folds to 110 × 61 × 45 cm, the pedals fold flat, and the Ergotec Fold stem tucks away to keep the footprint as small as possible.

Power comes from a Mahle X30 rear hub motor producing 45 Nm of torque — enough to tackle city gradients smoothly on the 16-inch wheels. The 171 Wh Mahle eX1 (e185) battery is removable and charges via USB-C, so you can top it up at your desk without carrying a bulky charger. The manufacturer quotes up to 60 km of range; real-world tests by specialist media put this closer to 45 km — comfortably enough for a full day of urban errands.

Shimano MT200 hydraulic disc brakes provide reliable, fade-free braking regardless of weather. The Schwalbe Big Apple 55-305 tyres absorb road imperfections thanks to their wide profile, while a rear elastomer shock absorber adds a further layer of comfort on rougher surfaces.

The MAHLE XS connected system pairs with the MySmartBike app for ride tracking and assistance level adjustments. The included VDV rack (10 kg capacity, Snap-It 2.0 / MIK compatible) and integrated wheels mean the bike can be wheeled through stations like a carry-on suitcase the moment you dismount.
