Description
The Cube Reaction Hybrid Race 800 is an electric mountain bike built for riders who take their trail riding seriously. The Bosch Performance CX Gen 5 motor (120 Nm), part of the Bosch Smart System ecosystem, provides responsive and natural-feeling assistance whether you're grinding up a steep climb or pushing through a technical section. The Bosch PowerTube 800 Wh battery sits fully integrated within the frame to keep weight centred and the silhouette clean.
The Superlite aluminium frame uses Gravity Casting Technology to reinforce stress points without adding unnecessary weight, while the Agile Ride Geometry keeps handling predictable and confidence-inspiring on varied terrain. The Fox 34 Float AWL fork with 120 mm of travel is specifically tuned for e-bikes, handling the added mass and torque that come with electric assistance. ACID SLX 30 Tubeless Ready rims paired with 2.6-inch Schwalbe Smart Sam tyres deliver grip and comfort on loose, rocky, or mixed ground.
Gear changes are handled by the Shimano Deore XT 12-speed groupset (RD-M8200-SGS ShadowPlus derailleur, SL-M8210-IR shifter, Deore 10-51T cassette), which shifts quietly and reliably even in muddy conditions. Braking power comes from Shimano XT BR-M8120 hydraulic disc brakes with 203 mm rotors front and rear — enough stopping force for fast descents with a loaded e-MTB. A CUBE dropper seatpost comes fitted as standard, making it easy to adapt your riding position without stopping mid-trail.
Available in sizes S through XXL — with 27.5" wheels on size S and 29" from M upward — the Reaction Hybrid Race 800 in snow'n'black is a well-specced, trail-ready package that doesn't require immediate upgrades out of the box.
