Description
The Bemoov CS20 is a 20-inch trekking bike designed for children aged 5.5 to 8, standing between 115 and 130 cm tall. Built from triple-butted AL6061 aluminium, the frame keeps the total weight down to 9.1 kg — a meaningful advantage when kids are still building confidence on two wheels and occasionally need to carry their bike up stairs or kerbs.
The 8-speed MicroSHIFT drivetrain uses trigger shifters with a practical colour code: red means a higher gear for speed, green means an easier gear for climbs or softer pedalling. This visual cue makes gear selection intuitive for young riders without any need for explanation. Front and rear V-Brakes feature levers scaled to children's hand size, ensuring consistent, safe stopping even with less grip strength.
Double-wall aluminium rims laced with 20 stainless steel spokes provide a sturdy yet lightweight wheel build. The lightly treaded tyres with reflective sidewalls work across tarmac and light trails while adding a layer of visibility in low-light conditions. The CS20 ships complete with front and rear mudguards, a rear carrier rack and a side kickstand — all in ultralight aluminium — so there's nothing extra to buy.
Both the frame and the AL6061 aluminium fork carry a lifetime warranty, making the CS20 a solid long-term investment that can comfortably be handed down from one child to the next.
