Description
The Bemoov M 16 is a children's bike built for 4 to 6 year olds taking their first real solo rides. The AL6061 aluminium frame and fork keep the total weight down to 5.7 kg — light enough for a child to pick up after a tip-over, and easy for a parent to toss in the boot of a car.
The drivetrain is intentionally single-speed: no gears to explain, no derailleur to adjust, just pedal and go. A nylon strap between the frame and fork limits the steering angle, preventing the kind of sharp turn that sends beginners straight to the ground.
Braking is handled by V-Brake front and rear, fitted with ergonomic levers sized for small hands. The colour coding — red lever for the front brake, green for the rear — makes it easy to teach children which hand does what. The 16-inch anodised aluminium rims include a wear indicator line, and the saddle adjusts across a 10 cm range to keep pace with the child's growth. Frame and fork carry a lifetime warranty.
