The Brompton New P-Line 4-Speed in Pacific Lacquer is the non-electric, performance-oriented version of Brompton's premium folding bike range. The frame combines a precision steel front section, hand-brazed in Brompton's London factory, with a Superlight Advance titanium rear triangle — a pairing that keeps the overall weight around 9.9 kg while maintaining the structural integrity expected from a daily-use commuter.

The one-piece carbon fork does more than save weight: it actively damps vibrations from rough road surfaces, which makes a noticeable difference on longer urban commutes. The redesigned Advance suspension block is tuned to maximise power transfer while pedalling, so the bike responds efficiently to your input rather than absorbing your effort.

The Brompton 4-speed Advance derailleur (60 g) provides a usable spread of gears for city riding — enough to tackle short climbs, maintain speed on flat roads, and restart smoothly from traffic lights. Continental Contact Urban 349 x 35c tyres with reflective sidewalls handle wet roads reliably and improve visibility in low-light conditions. Dual pivot Brompton callipers deliver consistent, predictable braking.
