Description
The Cube Aruba 240 is a 24-inch bike aimed at children between 118 and 136 cm who are ready to ride more independently. The Lite 6061 aluminium frame keeps weight manageable at 10.4 kg without sacrificing strength, and the low step-through geometry makes it easy to get on and off — no awkward leg-swinging required.
The drivetrain centres on a Shimano RD-M3020 8-speed rear derailleur paired with Shimano SL-M315 Rapidfire-Plus shifters: a simple click of the thumb is all it takes to change gear, even for younger riders. The Sunrace CSM55 11-34 cassette provides a wide enough range to handle hills without overexerting. Alloy V-brakes deliver smooth, progressive stopping power that gives children the confidence to brake safely.
Safety is built in: the Shimano DH-T4000 dynamo front hub keeps the CUBE Shiny 50 headlight and ACID Mudguard Rear Light PRO-D running without any batteries to replace. Schwalbe Smart Sam Kevlar 1.85" tyres add an extra layer of puncture protection for uninterrupted journeys. The ACID Rookie 24" rack, mudguards, kickstand and bell complete a package that needs nothing extra before hitting the road.
Cube recommends the Aruba 240 for children between 118 and 136 cm (52-63 cm inseam), with a maximum rider weight of 65 kg.
