The Superlite double-butted aluminium frame balances stiffness and comfort across varied city surfaces, while the full carbon Cube TK Disc C:62® fork keeps the front end responsive and light.

At the heart of the drivetrain is a Gates CDN belt drive — a toothed belt that replaces the conventional chain entirely. It requires no lubrication, produces no grease marks on clothing, and typically outlasts a standard chain by a significant margin. Paired with the Shimano Alfine SG-S7001-8 8-speed hub, all gear changes happen inside a sealed unit, away from road grime, meaning shifts remain smooth and predictable regardless of conditions.

Stopping power comes from Shimano BR-MT200/UR300 hydraulic disc brakes (160 mm front, 180 mm rear). Hydraulic systems require minimal lever effort for strong, progressive braking — an asset in wet Belgian commuting conditions. Schwalbe Motion Road Cruiser Plus 55 mm tyres provide a comfortable roll over mixed urban surfaces.

Practical details are well thought out: fully integrated cable routing threads all cables through the frame for a tidy finish and better protection against the elements.
