The Cube Nulane Deluxe EXC is built for riders who want a dependable city bike that stays out of the workshop. The Gates CDX belt drive (113T belt, Gates S150 CDN 46T crankset, 22T sprocket), paired with a Shimano Alfine SG-S7001-8 8-speed internal gear hub, eliminates the derailleur, the chain lube and the greasy cleanup. A belt doesn't stretch, doesn't rust and typically lasts far longer than a traditional chain — making it ideal for year-round commuting.

Shimano BR-MT200 hydraulic disc brakes with 160 mm rotors front and rear provide consistent, modulated stopping power regardless of weather. Unlike mechanical disc or rim brakes, hydraulic systems require minimal rider effort at the lever.

The Superlite double-butted aluminium frame uses tubes that are reinforced at stress points and thinned in the middle — a well-established technique that reduces weight without sacrificing structural integrity. A dedicated Thun Zumba eccentric bottom bracket allows precise belt tension adjustment, keeping the drivetrain running quietly and efficiently over time. The fork is a rigid aluminium unit for direct, predictable steering.

Running Schwalbe G-One Comp 40 mm tyres and finished in grey'n'chrome, available in five sizes (XS to XL) at 12.6 kg, the Nulane Deluxe EXC is a straightforward, well-specified commuter. Mudguards and a rear rack are available as options.
