Description

The Cube Editor SLX FE is a muscle-powered city bike designed for commuters who want to focus on the ride, not the maintenance. At its heart is a Gates CDX carbon belt drive that replaces the traditional chain: no lubrication needed, no grease marks, and a significantly longer service life under everyday urban conditions. Paired with the Shimano Alfine 11-speed internal hub, it offers a wide gear range with smooth, reliable shifting — even when you're stopped at a red light.

The frame is built from Superlite double-butted aluminium, which means more material where stress is highest and less where it isn't — keeping the bike light without sacrificing rigidity. The Cube C:62® full carbon fork takes the edge off rough tarmac and helps keep overall weight in check. Wide Schwalbe Motion Big Apple 55 mm tyres on 28-inch wheels smooth out cobbles and rough asphalt alike.

The Shimano BL-RS600/405 hydraulic disc brakes (160/180 mm) deliver precise, easily modulated stopping power in all conditions, including in the wet. Every cable is routed fully inside the frame, keeping the bike looking clean and shielding the housings from dirt and moisture. With hub-dynamo lighting, mudguards, a semi-integrated rear rack and a kickstand fitted as standard, the Editor SLX FE is ready for the daily commute straight out of the shop. Weight: 15.1 kg.
