The Cube Kathmandu Hybrid Comfort SLX 800 is a high-spec electric trekking bike built for riders who want reliable, low-fuss performance across urban streets and light off-road terrain. The Bosch Performance CX Gen 5 motor produces 85 Nm of torque, giving you confident assistance on steep climbs or when starting with a loaded rack. The Bosch PowerTube 800 Wh battery sits neatly inside the down tube, keeping the weight centred and the frame profile clean.

The Enviolo Automatiq continuously variable transmission paired with a Gates CDX belt drive is what sets this bike apart from most trekking e-bikes. There are no gears to shift manually — the system adjusts the ratio automatically based on your pedalling rhythm. The 380% gear range covers slow climbs and fast flats equally well, and the belt drive requires no lubrication or derailleur adjustments over thousands of kilometres.

Ride comfort and safety are covered by a Fox 34 Float AWL suspension fork with 100 mm of travel (tuned for e-bike loads), Shimano XT BR-M8120 hydraulic disc brakes, and Schwalbe Marathon E-Plus 29" tyres known for their durability and puncture resistance. The fork designed for city and road e-bikes. The Fox 34 Float AWL with RAIL Damper 2-position Sweep-Adjust shock absorber is a fork specially designed to meet the particular requirements of electric bicycles — higher mass, high torques, intensive use. With 100mm of travel, it is optimized for electric trekking bikes, electric gravel bikes and assisted urban bikes, where comfort and control take precedence over pure trail performance. The RAIL Damper system with 2-position Sweep-Adjust allows you to easily switch between a soft open position for uneven paths and a firmer position for smooth roads — a quick, intuitive adjustment that maximizes pedaling efficiency. The E-Bike Optimized designation means that the fork has been reinforced and recalibrated to support the additional weight and specific constraints of everyday e-bikes.
