Description
The Cube Reaction 240 TM is a 24" hardtail mountain bike built for kids between 118 and 136 cm tall (inside leg 52–63 cm) who want to ride actual trails. The Lite 6061 aluminium frame — the same alloy found on Cube's adult range — delivers a stiff, lightweight platform without the weight penalty often found on children's bikes.
Stopping power is handled by Magura MT Thirty hydraulic disc brakes: a 4-piston calliper up front paired with a 2-piston calliper at the rear, running on 180/160 mm rotors. Hydraulic brakes respond with less hand effort than mechanical alternatives, which matters when a child needs to scrub speed quickly on a descent. The SR Suntour Raidon34 fork (80 mm travel) absorbs trail chatter and protects wrists and shoulders on rough terrain.
The Microshift Advent 9-speed groupset with an 11-42T cassette provides a wide gear range — steep climbs stay manageable and there's enough top-end for faster rolling sections. Newmen Evolution X.A.25 Tubeless Ready wheels and Schwalbe Rocket Ron Kevlar 2.1" tyres round out a performance-focused build.
Offered in one size on 24" wheels and finished in reedgreen'n'lime, the Reaction 240 TM weighs a trim 10.5 kg, with a maximum rider weight of 65 kg.
