Description

The Cube Reaction SLX is a cross-country hardtail that strikes a solid balance between performance and value. Built around a double-butted aluminium Lite frame with internal cable routing and a tapered head tube, it delivers a stiff, responsive ride whether you're climbing a fireroad or navigating a technical singletrack.

Up front, the RockShox Recon Silver RL Air fork handles 100 mm of travel — enough to take the edge off trail chatter and keep your hands comfortable over longer rides. Stopping is handled by Shimano XT BR-M8100 hydraulic disc brakes (180 mm front, 160 mm rear), which give you reliable, modulated power regardless of weather or gradient.

The Shimano XT 1x12-speed drivetrain (Deore 32T crankset, 10-51T cassette) removes the front derailleur from the equation entirely — fewer moving parts, fewer things to adjust, more attention left for actually riding. Newmen Performance 30 Tubeless Ready wheels and Schwalbe Racing Ralph 2.25" tyres round out the build with a fast-rolling, lightweight profile that suits XC terrain well.

The Reaction SLX uses a Size Split approach: XS and S sizes roll on 27.5" wheels for sharper handling at smaller frame geometries, while M through XL use 29" wheels for speed and momentum on open trails. Five frame sizes are available. Weight: 13.3 kg.
