Description
The Merida BIG.NINE 600 is a 29-inch cross-country hardtail built for riders who want to push their trail riding further without giving up snappy performance on faster terrain. The BIG.NINE LITE triple-butted, hydroformed aluminium frame provides a stiff, efficient platform that puts every pedal stroke to good use.
Up front, the Manitou Markhor Comp air fork offers 100 mm of travel to soak up roots, stones, and trail chatter. Unlike coil forks, an air spring can be easily tuned to match your body weight, keeping the bike feeling composed regardless of the terrain. The hardtail rear end channels your power directly into forward motion — a key advantage on XC trails and rolling terrain.
The Shimano XT M8100 Shadow+ rear derailleur shifts with precision and stays quiet thanks to its integrated chain-stabilising system, even when the trail gets rough. Paired with Shimano Deore M6100 shifters and cassette in a 1×12 configuration, the drivetrain is intuitive to use and covers a wide range of gradients without a front derailleur to manage. Shimano M6100 hydraulic disc brakes round out the build with reliable, progressive stopping power whatever the weather.
Available in Blue/White in sizes S through XXL, the BIG.NINE 600 suits experienced riders and ambitious newcomers alike who are ready to take their XC riding to the next level.
