The Giant Defy Advanced SL 0 is Giant's top-tier endurance road bike for the 2026-2027 season. Built around an Advanced SL-grade carbon frame weighing just 785 g, it pairs structural stiffness with genuine road comfort — achieved through the integrated D-Fuse composite seatpost that flexes to filter out road buzz rather than transmitting it to the rider.
Shifting is handled by the fully wireless SRAM RED AXS E1 groupset across 12 speeds. The 10-36T cassette covers a wide enough range for mountain passes and flat-road pace alike. A standout feature: the SRAM RED E1 DUB crankset includes an integrated power meter, so training with data requires no additional investment.
The CADEX Ultra 40 WheelSystem uses hookless carbon rims with a 40 mm profile and 22.4 mm internal width, paired with CADEX Classics 700x32c tubeless tyres. This combination lowers rolling resistance while providing a cushioning effect on less-than-perfect road surfaces. The frame accepts tyres up to 38 mm wide, adding versatility for riders who tackle varied terrain.
Available in Arctic Light / Chrome across five frame sizes (S, M, ML, L, XL), the Defy Advanced SL 0 suits riders who want one bike capable of handling sportives, long training days and cobbled classics without compromise.
