Key features
- Front and rear suspension working together: Giant STL 34 fork with 140 mm of travel up front and ALUXX frame with 130 mm FlexPoint rear suspension smooth out roots, rocks and drops so you can focus on the trail ahead
- 4-piston hydraulic brakes from Tektro (HD-M5141) with 180 mm rotors front and rear: consistent, progressive stopping power whether you're crawling down a steep chute or picking up speed on a fast descent
- Shimano CUES 1x10 drivetrain keeps things simple — one thumb lever, one chainring, and an 11-48 cassette that handles both steep climbs and flat sprints without any front derailleur to manage
- Giant Contact Switch AT dropper seatpost included as standard: drop your saddle for descents, raise it for climbs, all from the handlebar — travel ranges from 110 mm (S) to 200 mm (XL) depending on frame size
- Maxxis Dissector 29x2.4" EXO TR tyres, tubeless-ready at the rear: reliable grip on dirt, roots and loose terrain, with the option to go tubeless and reduce the risk of flats

Description
The Giant Stance 2026 is a full-suspension aluminium trail bike built for riders who want to tackle varied, technical terrain without stepping up to a full enduro rig. The ALUXX aluminium frame uses Giant's FlexPoint single-pivot suspension to deliver 130 mm of rear travel, while the Giant STL 34 fork adds 140 mm up front. The result is a bike that absorbs trail chatter, roots and sudden drops while staying planted and predictable.
Shifting is handled by a Shimano CUES 1x10 drivetrain — a single chainring setup with a wide-range 11-48 tooth cassette that covers everything from steep fire road climbs to fast singletrack. There's no front derailleur to adjust or chain drop to worry about. The KMC X-11 chain completes the group, and the rear derailleur is compatible with the UDH (Universal Derailleur Hanger) standard, making crash replacements straightforward.
Stopping is taken care of by Tektro HD-M5141 hydraulic brakes with 4-piston callipers and 180 mm rotors at both ends — a setup that offers solid bite and good modulation across a wide range of conditions. Maxxis Dissector 29x2.4" EXO TR tyres (tubeless-ready at the rear) provide dependable traction on mixed and loose terrain, and can be run without inner tubes for better puncture resistance.
The Giant Contact Switch AT dropper seatpost comes fitted as standard — a feature that makes a real difference on varied terrain. Drop the saddle instantly for a technical descent, then raise it back up for the next climb, all without stopping. The Stance is available in S, M, L and XL, covering a wide range of rider heights.
