Description
The Giant Talon 3 29" is a hardtail mountain bike built for riders who want to explore proper trails without spending a fortune. The ALUXX aluminium frame keeps things light and stiff where it matters, and the SR Suntour XCE suspension fork (100 mm of travel on 29" sizes) takes the edge off rough ground so your arms don't tire out before the trail does.
A 2×8 Shimano drivetrain — Altus shifters, Acera rear derailleur, and an 11-34 cassette — gives you 16 gears to play with across a wide range. Spin up steep climbs, then shift down and let it roll on the way back. Stopping is handled by Tektro HDC M275 hydraulic disc brakes with a 180 mm rotor up front and 160 mm at the rear: consistent, progressive and predictable whether the ground is dry or muddy.
Giant GX03V 29" double-wall rims paired with Maxxis Ikon 29×2.2 tyres deliver a stable, grippy platform on forest trails and technical singletrack. The 29" wheel diameter rolls over obstacles more easily and maintains momentum between pedal strokes. The Giant Connect Trail handlebar (780 mm on M–XXL) gives a confident, controlled riding position on descents.
With five frame sizes from S to XXL, the Talon 3 fits a wide range of riders — from first-time trail cyclists looking to improve, to regular riders who want dependable kit at a sensible price.
