The Giant Trance X 1 is a trail and all-mountain full-suspension bike built around an ALUXX SL-Grade aluminium frame. It pairs a Fox 36 Float Performance fork with 150 mm of travel up front with Giant's Maestro dual-linkage rear suspension at 140 mm, keeping the rear wheel tracking the ground on chunky, technical terrain while staying efficient on climbs.
The Shimano SLX 1x12 drivetrain — including Shadow+ derailleur, 10-51t cassette and I-Spec EV trigger shifter — offers precise, quiet shifting that holds up in muddy or dusty conditions. Stopping power comes from four-piston Shimano BR-MT520 hydraulic brakes with oversized rotors (203 mm front, 180 mm rear), giving you progressive, reliable control on the steepest descents.
29-inch Giant TRA hookless wheels (30 mm inner width) are laced with tubeless-ready Maxxis tires: a Minion DHF 2.5 WT at the front for traction in corners, and a Dissector 2.4 WT at the rear for speed. Geometry is tunable via the Maestro 3-position flip chip and headset flip chip, dialling in head angles between 64.4° and 65.1°. A built-in down tube storage compartment keeps a spare tube or snack within reach.
Available in S, M, L and XL, the Trance X 1 ships with a Contact Switch AT dropper post (110–200 mm travel by size) and a 780 mm Giant Contact TR35 handlebar — spec that lets you ride harder straight out of the box.
