Description

The Merida MATTS J.20+ is a kids' mountain bike designed to inspire confidence on trails, gravel paths and beyond. Its TFS 6061 double-butted aluminium frame keeps weight down to around 9.5 kg, making it manageable for young riders without sacrificing rigidity.

The standout feature for safety is the Tektro HD-J2820 hydraulic disc brake system, with 160 mm rotors front and rear. Hydraulic discs require minimal lever effort and maintain consistent braking performance in wet or muddy conditions — a significant upgrade over rim brakes on a child's bike.

The 8-speed Microshift Acolyte drivetrain includes a trigger shifter with a built-in gear indicator, so kids can see which gear they're in at a glance. Maxxis Pace 20 x 2.10" tyres provide solid grip on loose terrain, and the Merida JR 20+ aluminium rims are built to handle rough use.

Designed for riders between 109 and 129 cm tall, the MATTS J.20+ is a one-size bike that grows confidence alongside your child — whether they're exploring local trails or working on their first climbs.

The Fidlock TWIST 450 + bike base set in transparent black combines a 450 ml bottle with its magneto-mechanical TWIST base. The bike base screws onto the two standard frame bosses, and the bottle attaches and releases with a simple twist. Powerful magnets centre and lock the bottle, while the mechanical latch holds it firmly in place, even on rough terrain. The system also fits compact frames where a conventional bottle cage won't. The BPA- and BPS-free bottle has a self-sealing membrane cap with high-flow valve and dust cap, and is dishwasher-safe up to 60°. Colour: transparent black.
