The Merida Speeder 60 is a road-oriented city bike designed for riders who want speed, comfort and dependability on their daily routes. The triple-butted hydroformed 6066 aluminium frame (Lite III) keeps weight in check while maintaining stiffness where it counts. Full internal cable routing gives it a refined, low-maintenance finish.

The Shimano Essa 1x8 drivetrain — featuring a 40T chainring and an 11-45T cassette — handles urban terrain with ease: pulling away at traffic lights, powering up bridges or settling into a steady commuting pace. No front derailleur to manage, just simple, reliable gear changes via the right-hand Shimano Essa shifter.

Shimano MT200 hydraulic disc brakes with 160 mm rotors deliver consistent braking power regardless of the weather — a genuine advantage on wet Belgian roads. The Merida Comp SL Tubeless Ready wheels come fitted with Maxxis Detonator 700x32C tyres, offering a good balance of rolling efficiency and puncture resistance on tarmac.

Frame mounts for mudguards, a rear rack and a kickstand mean the Speeder 60 can be set up as a fully practical commuter without losing its clean lines. Available in sizes S, M, L and XL in a understated Silk Gunmetal Grey finish.
