The Riese & Müller Multitinker2 vario is an electric longtail cargo bike built to replace the car for everyday urban use. With a total permitted weight of 200 kg — rider, passengers and cargo combined — it handles the kind of loads that most bikes simply can't.

The Bosch Cargo Line motor (100 Nm) delivers smooth, powerful assistance calibrated specifically for loaded cargo bikes: hill starts and traffic-light sprints stay effortless whether you're carrying two children or a week's groceries. The Bosch PowerTube 625 Wh battery sits neatly inside the frame and provides enough range to get through several weeks of daily rides before you need to plug in. Ride data and settings are handled by the Bosch Purion 200 display, and the bike connects to the eBike Flow app for updates and personalisation.

The Enviolo continuously variable transmission paired with a Gates CDX carbon belt drive is a practical upgrade over a traditional chain-and-derailleur setup: no lubrication, no derailleur adjustments, and seamless shifting even when stationary. Stopping power comes from Magura MT5 (front, 4-piston) and MT4 (rear) hydraulic disc brakes — exactly what you need when the bike is loaded. The Suntour Mobie 34 CGO Boost fork with 80 mm of travel smooths out rough urban surfaces on 20-inch wheels.

Designed for day-to-day practicality, the Multitinker2 vario fits riders from 1.50 m to 2.00 m in a single frame size. A twin-leg kickstand keeps the bike stable when parked and loaded, while Schwalbe Super Moto-X tyres handle tarmac and mixed surfaces with confidence.
