The Surly Straggler is a chromoly steel gravel/cyclocross bike that embodies a radically different philosophy from modern carbon bikes: robust, versatile, repairable anywhere in the world and built to last decades. Its Reynolds 520 steel frame offers that characteristic flex that metal devotees know well — a suppleness that filters vibrations and protects the back over long distances.

Compatible with very wide tyres and equipped with multiple mounting points for racks, bags and bikepacking accessories, the Straggler is the adventure bike par excellence.
