Description
The Tern Link D8 is a 20-inch folding bike built for urban riders who want a single bicycle that can handle the commute, weekend errands and everything in between. Its aluminium frame with OCL+ hinge keeps the bike rigid when riding while still folding down quickly and reliably day after day.
The fold takes under 10 seconds and brings the bike down to 38 × 79 × 72 cm — small enough for the boot of a compact car, a train vestibule or under a desk at the office. The Tern Andros adjustable stem means riders between 142 and 190 cm can dial in the right fit.
A Shimano 1×8 trigger shifter with an 11-32T cassette gives you a wide enough gear range to spin comfortably on flat urban roads or push up steeper climbs. Schwalbe Big Apple tyres (50-406) are wider than typical folding-bike rubber, which pays off in bump absorption and predictable handling. Aluminium V-brakes provide consistent stopping power in wet and dry conditions alike.
Unlike many folding bikes, the Link D8 ships fully equipped for daily use: an integrated Tern Valo 2 headlight (41 lux), rear LED, Tern Loader rack, mudguards and a centre kickstand are all fitted as standard. Maximum load: 120 kg (rider up to 105 kg). Bike weight: 12.1 kg. Colour: Satin Platinum & Pearl.
