Description

The Tern Orox S12 is an all-terrain electric cargo bike designed for riders who need real carrying capacity without being limited to smooth urban streets. The patented 6061-AL frame is EFBE-tested and rated for a total system weight of 210 kg on road and 180 kg off road — making it a genuine workhorse for family transport, grocery runs or gear-heavy adventures.

At the heart of the drivetrain sits the Bosch Performance Line CX motor (85 Nm), delivering smooth, responsive assistance that holds up on long climbs and under heavy loads. The Bosch PowerPack 800 Wh battery provides an estimated range of 93 to 161 km depending on assist level and terrain. The bike is also dual battery-compatible, accepting a second Bosch battery for a combined 1,600 Wh — a practical option for touring or commuting beyond the city limits. Ride data and settings are managed through the Bosch Kiox 300 display, complete with LED remote and electronic lock.

The Schwalbe Johnny Watts 27.5 x 4" tyres offer a wide, stable footprint across surfaces, while the Atlas X chromoly fork keeps steering precise without adding unnecessary compliance. Stopping is handled by Magura MT5 4-piston brakes with 203 mm rotors — well matched to the bike's loaded weight. Integrated lighting includes a 700-lumen Ignis front light and a brake-sensor rear light for visibility in all conditions.

Available in sizes M (155–185 cm) and L (165–195 cm), the Orox S12 fits a wide range of riders. The Atlas XL kickstand keeps the bike upright and stable even when fully loaded.

Information, without compromise. The Bosch Kiox 300 is the connected screen that strikes the right balance between readability, compactness and functionality. Mounted on the handlebars, it displays all the essential data of your ride on a clear and readable backlit screen - even in direct sunlight - without cluttering the cockpit. Connected to the eBike Flow app via Bluetooth, it provides access to software updates, personalization of riding modes and detailed monitoring of your performance. Easy to use, it is aimed at both urban cyclists and demanding hikers who want to keep an eye on their data without complicating their lives.
