The Tern Orox S12 is an electric cargo bike built for riders who need to carry serious loads — and aren't willing to stay on paved roads to do it. The patented 6061 aluminium frame has passed EFBE structural testing, a recognised industry test for frames under heavy, repeated loads.

Power comes from the Bosch Performance Line CX motor (85 Nm of torque), which provides strong, smooth assistance whether you're climbing a hill with a full load or navigating a muddy track. The Bosch PowerPack 800 Wh battery covers generous distances on a single charge, and the bike is already set up for a second battery — bringing total capacity to 1,600 Wh when you need maximum range. Ride management is handled through the Bosch Kiox 300 display with LED Remote and built-in electronic lock.

The Shimano Deore 1x12 drivetrain with a 10-51T cassette gives you a wide gear range: low enough to climb with a heavy load, high enough to cruise comfortably on flat roads. Stopping power comes from Magura MT5 4-piston brakes with 203 mm rotors — the kind of braking confidence you need when the bike is fully loaded. The 29" wheels are fitted with Schwalbe Johnny Watts 29 x 2.6" tyres, designed to roll steadily over loose surfaces, dirt tracks and urban roads alike.

Available in M (155–185 cm) and L (165–195 cm). Comes standard with an Ignis 700-lumen front light, brake-sensor rear light, Atlas X rack and Atlas XL kickstand — everything you need to ride it every day, from day one.
