The Tern Quick Haul P8i is a compact electric cargo bike built to replace the car for everyday urban journeys — school runs, grocery trips, light deliveries. Its patented 6061 aluminium frame carries an EFBE Tri-Test certification for a 150 kg GVW, meaning you can load a child onto the Atlas Q rear rack (rated to 50 kg) alongside bags of shopping and ride with confidence in the frame's integrity.

The Shimano Nexus 8-speed internal hub does away with an exposed derailleur and gear cables — a real advantage in Belgian weather. You can also shift gears while stationary, which makes a meaningful difference when stopping on a slope. The Bosch Active Line Plus motor provides 50 Nm of torque and up to 250% assist, giving you the push you need for loaded standing starts and moderate climbs. Power management is handled by the Bosch Intuvia display, which offers four assistance modes and a walk-assist function for navigating the bike by hand in narrow spaces. The Bosch PowerPack 400 Wh battery powers the system.

Braking comes courtesy of Clarks Clout hydraulic discs — 180 mm front, 160 mm rear — delivering consistent feel whether the road is dry or wet. Schwalbe Big Apple 55-406 tyres on Schürmann rims smooth out cobblestones and rough urban surfaces without requiring any suspension. Integrated Contec lighting (50-lux headlight and rear light) means you're road-legal day and night. One frame size fits riders from 160 to 195 cm, finished in Ocean Blue & Dark Sea.
