Brompton G Line with Roller Frame - 8 Speed

The Brompton G Line 8 Speed is a premium folding bike built for riders who want real-world versatility without compromising on ride quality. The hand-brazed steel frame, made at Brompton's London factory, delivers the rigidity and longevity the brand is known for — and comes with a 7-year warranty upon registration. Folded, it measures just 72 × 67 × 41 cm, small enough to slide under a seat on the Eurostar or stow in the corner of your office.

The Shimano Alfine 8-speed internal hub puts all the gear mechanics inside the rear hub, away from mud, rain and road grime. There's no exposed derailleur to catch on anything or require regular adjustment. With a 307% gear range (29–88 gear inches), you get enough spread to tackle urban hills and open stretches alike — all from a single twist or click of the shifter.

Brompton fitted the G Line with Schwalbe G-One All Round tyres in 2.1" — considerably wider than a standard Brompton tyre. The tan-wall, tubeless-ready casing soaks up vibration on cobblestones, handles smooth gravel paths and rolls efficiently on tarmac. Paired with Tektro hydraulic disc brakes and 140 mm rotors, stopping is precise and fatigue-free even on longer descents or in wet conditions.

Out of the box, the G Line comes with a rear roller frame (so you can wheel it like a suitcase when folded), full mudguards and a front carrier block compatible with the entire Brompton bag range. Three fit options — S, M and L — are achieved through different seatpost lengths, so the same agile frame suits a wide range of riders. The metallic Adventure Orange finish makes it unmistakeable in a rack of bikes.
