The Giant Talon 3 29" is a hardtail mountain bike built for riders who want to hit the trails without spending a fortune. The ALUXX-grade aluminium frame keeps things light and stiff where it matters, and the integrated internal cable routing gives it a tidy look while reducing snag points on the trail.

The 29-inch wheels are a practical advantage on natural terrain: they roll over obstacles more easily than smaller wheels and hold momentum better once you're moving. Up front, the SR Suntour XCE fork provides 100 mm of travel to absorb bumps and vibrations, keeping your hands and arms fresher on longer rides.

Shifting is handled by a Shimano setup — Acera rear derailleur and Altus shifters — giving you 16 gears across a 2×8 range. That's enough spread to tackle punchy climbs and recover on the flats. The Giant GX03V double-wall rims support tyres up to 2.4" wide, so you can swap rubber to match your local trails. The 12×142 mm thru-axle rear end keeps wheel removal and fitting straightforward.
