The Aerium C:68X Race is Cube's triathlon and time-trial bike built around a C:68X® monocoque carbon frame produced using Advanced Twin Mold Technology. This manufacturing process yields precise internal wall geometry and targeted stiffness exactly where pedalling forces are transferred, keeping total weight at 10.1 kg. The Twin Head Tube design and full internal cable routing contribute to a clean aerodynamic profile from front to rear.
Shifting duties fall to a Shimano Ultegra Di2 12-speed groupset — derailleur RD-R8150, crankset FC-R8100 52×36T, cassette CS-R8101 11-30T — controlled by Dura-Ace Di2 SW-R9160 TT bar-end shifters. This means gear changes happen at your fingertips while you stay locked in the aero position, with zero mechanical lag. Braking is handled by Shimano Dura-Ace BR-R9270 hydraulic disc brakes (140/140 mm flat mount), delivering reliable, modulated deceleration across transitions and technical descents alike.
The wheel package consists of Newmen Streem S.60/TT.80 carbon wheels — 60 mm front, 80 mm rear — laced with 21 and 24 spokes and set up Tubeless Ready with Continental Grand Prix 5000 TT 28 mm tyres and aero valves. Rolling resistance is kept to a minimum over long race distances. The CUBE Aerium C:68X® integrated cockpit, aero seatpost and Selle Italia Watt SF Magnesium saddle complete a race-ready build designed for hours in the triathlon position.
