Giant Anthem Advanced SL 0

The Giant Anthem Advanced SL 0 is Giant's flagship cross-country race bike for 2026. The front and rear triangles are built from Advanced SL carbon using Continuous Fiber Technology in a one-piece monocoque construction — the result is a frame weight of just 1,530 g (size M, no shock). Rear suspension travel is 120 mm, delivered by the FlexPoint Pro single-pivot system that keeps the axle path efficient under pedaling loads.

Shifting is handled by the SRAM XX SL Eagle AXS wireless groupset. No gear cables run through the frame — the derailleur responds to a radio signal from the lever, which also means no cable stretch or housing wear. The 12-speed cassette spans 10–52 teeth, giving you a wide enough range for steep climbs and fast descents alike. The crankset comes with a built-in Quarq power meter at no extra cost — a genuine advantage for data-driven training. SRAM Motive ULT hydraulic disc brakes with 180 mm front and 160 mm rear rotors deliver confident, modulated stopping power in any conditions.

The Giant XCR carbon 29" wheels use Wide Guard technology (30 mm inner width) with carbon spokes and tubeless compatibility. They arrive fitted with Maxxis Aspen 29×2.4 MaxxSpeed EXO TR tyres — a fast-rolling, trail-capable combination. The full-carbon Contact SLR XC integrated cockpit (780 mm bar width) saves weight at the front end, while the Giant Contact Switch SL dropper post (up to 140 mm of travel) gives you confident positioning in technical descents.

A flip chip at the front shock mount lets you switch between High and Low geometry settings: 0.5° change in head angle and seat tube angle, plus 6 mm of extra bottom bracket height in the High position.
