Description
The Giant STP 20 FS is a full-suspension kids' bike built for young riders between 110 and 130 cm who want to go beyond the pavement and explore dirt paths and light trails. The ALUXX-grade aluminium frame keeps weight manageable without sacrificing durability — an important balance when a child is still building confidence on varied terrain.
Up front, the SR Suntour XCT Jr. suspension fork smooths out bumps, roots and uneven ground, and features a lockout function so parents or older kids can stiffen the fork for paved sections when efficiency matters more than cushioning. The Tektro hydraulic disc brakes deliver consistent, modulated stopping power regardless of weather — critical for younger riders who don't yet have the hand strength to work traditional brakes hard.
The MicroShift Advent 1×8 drivetrain provides 8 speeds via an 11-38t cassette, giving a wide range that covers steep climbs and faster flat stretches alike. MicroShift Acolyte levers are sized for small hands, and the 105 mm cranks match the proportions of younger riders for a natural, efficient pedal stroke.
The 20" Giant TRA 2 Wide Guard rims paired with 20×2.2" tyres offer solid grip and stability on mixed surfaces. Available in Teal for the 2026-2027 season, the STP 20 FS is a genuinely capable first off-road bike for kids ready to move past casual rides.
