Merida REACTO 5000

The Merida Reacto 5000 is an aero road bike built around a full carbon frame for riders who want real-world speed without giving up everyday usability. The REACTO CF3 IV frame is shaped to reduce aerodynamic drag and accepts tyres up to 700×30C — wide enough to smooth out rough road surfaces while keeping rolling resistance low.

Shifting is handled by a full Shimano 105 Di2 electronic groupset, 2×12 speed, with a 52-36T chainset and an 11-34T cassette. The electronic system delivers fast, repeatable gear changes at the press of a button — no cable tension to worry about, no manual fine-tuning required. Whether you're climbing or sprinting on a flat, the gearing range covers both ends comfortably.

The Vision Team 35 aluminium wheels, 35 mm deep and tubeless ready, provide a noticeable aerodynamic advantage without adding significant weight. Paired with Continental Grand Prix 700×28C tubeless-ready tyres featuring a Kevlar casing, the setup offers low rolling resistance and improved puncture resistance. Shimano 105 flat-mount hydraulic disc brakes with 160 mm RT64 rotors deliver reliable, controlled braking whether the road is dry or wet.

A carbon aero seatpost with 15 mm setback and size-matched Merida Expert SL 2PII stems complete a geometry designed for performance on the road. At around 9 kg in size M, the Reacto 5000 is a capable choice for long-distance rides, sportives, or regular high-intensity training.
