Merida SCULTURA TEAM

The Merida SCULTURA TEAM is a purpose-built carbon road racing bike for cyclists who want every component to justify its presence. The SCULTURA CF5 V frame uses Nano Matrix Carbon technology — nanoparticles embedded in the resin that increase impact resistance by 40% compared to standard carbon layup. At approximately 822 g for a size M frame, it contributes to an overall bike weight of around 6.8 kg, ready to ride.

Shifting duties are handled by Shimano Dura-Ace Di2 R9200, Shimano's flagship 12-speed electronic groupset. A light touch on the lever sends an electronic signal to the derailleur for instant, consistent gear changes under any load. A power meter is built directly into the Dura-Ace crankset, giving you accurate watt output at all times — no additional sensors or compatibility worries. The cassette covers an 11-30T range across 12 sprockets, suited to varied terrain.

The Vision Metron 45 SL carbon clincher wheels measure 45 mm deep and feature a 21 mm internal width, optimised for wider tyres. They come tubeless-ready, as do the fitted Continental Grand Prix 5000S TR tyres in 700x28C — run them tubeless to lower rolling resistance and reduce the chance of a flat. The Scultura CF5 disc carbon fork accepts tyres up to 700x30C if you want extra volume.

Braking is provided by Shimano Dura-Ace hydraulic disc calipers paired with Shimano CL900 160 mm rotors front and rear. A Disc Cooler — a finned forged aluminium piece mounted between the caliper and the frame — actively dissipates heat during prolonged braking, keeping bite feel consistent on Alpine-style descents. The bike is available in sizes XS through XL, with stem length and crank length matched to each size for proper fit out of the box.
