Description
The Cube Aerium C:68X SLT Aero is a purpose-built triathlon and time trial bike for athletes who want every possible aerodynamic advantage. The monocoque frame uses C:68X® carbon shaped with Advanced Twin Mold Technology, incorporating a Twin Head Tube design and full internal cable routing — nothing protrudes to disrupt airflow around the frame.
Shifting is handled by the Sram Red AXS™ 12-speed wireless system, operated via eTap Blips positioned on the extensions so you never need to leave your aero position to change gear. The 10-33T cassette covers a wide range of gradients and race profiles. The Sram Red E1 crankset with integrated Powermeter Spider feeds real-time watt data directly to your head unit — essential for pacing strategy over long race distances. The Sram Red E1 chain comes factory-coated with CeramicSpeed Wax Coating to minimise drivetrain friction from the first pedal stroke.
The wheel package is where the aero gains are most visible: a Newmen Streem TT.80 with 15 carbon spokes up front and the Infinite VONOA full carbon disc at the rear. Both are paired with Schwalbe Pro One Aero TLR 700x28c tubeless-ready tyres, lowering rolling resistance while maintaining the aerodynamic profile. Hydraulic disc braking via the Sram S-900 Aero HRD (160/160 mm) ensures predictable and powerful deceleration in both dry and wet conditions.
The Cube Aerium C:68X® Cockpit System with Profile Design ASC Pro extensions, Selle Italia Watt SF Magnesium saddle and Cube Aerium C:68® Aero seatpost complete a build centred around an aggressive, race-ready position. The integrated in-frame hydration system (≥750 ml) means you can stay fuelled without compromising your position — a genuine advantage on Ironman and long-course events.
