The Merida SILEX 700 is a gravel bike built for riders who want to explore without limits. The hydroformed triple-butted 6066 aluminium frame features full internal cable routing and pairs with a tapered Merida Silex II CF2 carbon fork — a combination that keeps the front end precise and takes the edge off rough surfaces over long distances.
Shifting is handled by a complete Shimano GRX 820 1x12 groupset, with a CS-M7100 10-51T cassette that provides enough range to get you up demanding climbs fully loaded and back up to speed on the flat. Integrated brake-shifter levers keep the cockpit clean. Shimano GRX 820 hydraulic disc brakes with RT64 180 mm rotors at both ends offer consistent, powerful braking whether you're descending a wet gravel road or navigating technical singletrack.
Shimano WH-RX180 700C aluminium wheels, shod with Maxxis Rambler 700x45C tubeless-ready tyres, keep you planted on loose surfaces and comfortable on longer rides. The frame clears tyres up to 700x45C (700x42C with mudguards), and the fork accepts up to 700x47C. A carbon Merida Expert SL seatpost and a saddle made with recycled and natural materials round out the build.
