Description

The Riese & Müller Charger5 touring is an electric touring and everyday commuting bike built to last: a high frame, a suspension fork and a large-capacity battery to rack up the kilometres with complete peace of mind.

It is powered by a Bosch Performance Line CX motor (25 km/h) paired with a Bosch PowerTube 800 Wh battery integrated horizontally into the frame; a Bosch PowerMore 250 Wh Range Extender is available as an option for the longest rides. The system is controlled from the Bosch Kiox 500 display.

The 11-speed Shimano Linkglide drivetrain (Shimano CUES SL-U6000 shifter, Shimano CUES 11-50 cassette, 42-tooth chainring) is designed for durability under electric assistance. Comfort comes from the Fox AWL 34 Air fork with 100 mm of travel, a suspension seatpost as standard and Schwalbe Motion Super Moto-X 62-584 tyres on Rodi Tryp35 Evo 27.5" rims. Magura MT4 disc brakes deliver powerful, well-modulated stopping.

It comes fully equipped: Supernova Mini 3 Pro front light and Axa Juno Signal rear light, mudguards, Riese & Müller MIK rear rack, kickstand and ABUS frame lock with chain and bag. The Charger5 touring has a permissible total weight of 160 kg (rider up to 125 kg, 27 kg on the rear rack) and is approved for a child seat on the rack and for towing a trailer.

Bosch Gen 5 'Performance CX' - 120 Nm

Uncompromising autonomy. The Bosch PowerTube 800 Wh is the battery that frees cyclists from the constraint of mileage. With 800 Wh of capacity, it pushes the limits of every outing — whether it's a long commute, a weekend getaway or a multi-day wilderness adventure. Integrated directly into the frame tube, the PowerTube disappears into the silhouette of the bike for a clean aesthetic and optimal protection against shocks and bad weather. Light for its capacity, it recharges quickly and pairs perfectly with all Bosch Smart System motors for intelligent energy management in real time.

Bosch Kiox 500

The screen for those who want to see everything. The Bosch Kiox 500 is the advanced version of the Kiox range — a larger, brighter and more comprehensive connected display, designed for cyclists who want to access all of their riding data without taking out their smartphone. Its enlarged display offers optimal readability in all conditions, whether in the middle of the forest or in full urban sunshine. Permanently connected to the eBike Flow app via Bluetooth, it centralizes navigation, performance data and customization of modes in one place. A clear interface, careful ergonomics and exemplary responsiveness - the Kiox 500 is the reference screen for long and demanding outings.
