Description
The Tern Quick Haul P5i is a compact electric longtail cargo bike built for people who need real carrying capacity without the footprint of a full-size cargo bike. The 6061 aluminium frame is EFBE Tri-Test certified for a total load of 150 kg, and the Atlas Q rear rack is rated to carry 50 kg on its own — enough for big grocery runs, bulky work equipment or a child seat.
Power comes from a Bosch Performance Line motor producing 65 Nm of torque with up to 300 % assistance, paired with a PowerPack 400 Wh battery for an estimated range of 54–98 km depending on terrain and mode. The Bosch Intuvia display puts four assistance levels and a walk-assist function at your fingertips — useful when manoeuvring a loaded bike through tight spaces.
The Shimano Nexus Inter-5E 5-speed internal hub keeps things simple: no exposed derailleur to adjust, very little maintenance, and you can shift gears while stopped at a red light. Clarks hydraulic disc brakes with a 180 mm front rotor provide progressive, reliable stopping power even at maximum load. The Speedlifter stem lets you fold the handlebar flat for easier storage in hallways or bike rooms.
This one-size frame fits riders from 160 to 195 cm. The Satin Red & Merlot colourway gives this everyday workhorse a confident, distinctive look.
