The Cube Kathmandu Hybrid EXC 800 is a versatile electric trekking bike designed for riders who want to go further — whether that means a daily commute across town or a longer route mixing tarmac and gravel paths. The Superlite aluminium frame with Gravity Casting Technology keeps the build stiff where it needs to be, while fully integrated cable routing (Integrated Cable Routing) keeps things neat and protects components from the elements.
Power comes from a Bosch Performance CX motor paired with an in-frame Bosch PowerTube 800 Wh battery. That combination means sustained assistance over long distances and hilly terrain, with the Bosch Kiox 500 display giving you a clear read on speed, range and assist level at a glance. The display connects to the eBike Flow app for deeper customisation of your ride settings.
The Shimano XT 12-speed drivetrain delivers smooth, dependable shifts whether you're navigating city traffic or a gentle off-road path. Up front, the Fox 34 Float AWL suspension fork — 100 mm of travel, tuned specifically for e-bikes — absorbs road buzz and the occasional pothole without drama. Shimano BR-MT420 hydraulic disc brakes with ABS (203/203 mm) round out the safety package, offering controlled, progressive stopping power even when carrying luggage.
