The Cube Kathmandu Hybrid ONE11 HPC Pro 800 is a full-suspension electric-assist all-terrain bike, available for the 2026-2027 season in hazeblue'n'blue.

Assistance comes from a Bosch Performance CX Gen 5 motor (100 Nm), paired with a Bosch PowerTube 800 Wh battery, for a range of 100-150 km. The Bosch Purion 200 display, integrated into the handlebars, shows the essential ride data.

Suspension is handled by an SR Suntour XCR34X-Air fork (100mm of travel) and an SR Suntour EdgeX 2CR shock. The Shimano CUES RD-U6000-GS drivetrain, with a Shimano CUES SL-U6000 Rapidfire-Plus shifter and Shimano CUES CS-LG400 11-50T cassette, offers a wide gear range. Braking is handled by Shimano BR-MT420 hydraulic brakes, with 203mm rotors front and rear.

Shimano Cues CS-LG400, 11-50T

The cassette built to survive an electric bike. The Shimano CUES CS-LG400 in 11-50T is an 11-speed cassette built around LINKGLIDE, the technology Shimano developed specifically to answer the problem e-bikes create: a motor that delivers torque constantly wears a drivetrain out far faster than a human leg does. In practice, LINKGLIDE claims up to three times the tooth life of a conventional Hyperglide cassette under high chain tension. The teeth are thicker and the shift ramps redrawn to absorb shifting under load — the kind you make without thinking mid-acceleration, motor at full assist, and which destroys an ordinary drivetrain. Shifting is also smoother in both directions, with noticeably less shock through the pedals. With an 11-13-15-17-20-23-26-30-36-43-50 progression, it covers the ground without gaps: closely spaced ratios at the bottom of the cassette to hold a steady cadence on the flat, and a 50-tooth sprocket so you are never stuck on a climb, loaded or not. It requires a LINKGLIDE drivetrain (matching CUES derailleur and shifter) and takes either a LINKGLIDE or an HG 11-speed chain.

Shimano BR-MT420, Hydr. Disc Brake (203/203)

Braking power where it actually matters: on a heavy, loaded bike, heading downhill. The Shimano BR-MT420 is a four-piston hydraulic disc brake caliper, fitted here with 203 mm rotors front and rear — the largest size in Shimano's mountain bike range. Four pistons instead of two means a larger pad surface and better-distributed pressure: around 20% more power than the two-piston version, and above all power that doesn't fade after three corners. On an electric mountain bike weighing 25 kg before the rider even gets on, that is not a luxury. The aluminium alloy body sheds heat, and the mineral oil circuit keeps a consistent bite point in the rain, in mud, or after a long descent. The D03S resin pads supplied as standard deliver progressive, quiet braking; they can be swapped for metallic D02S pads for greater heat resistance and better wet-weather performance — both share the same shape. The post-mount fitting is standard, so servicing can be done by any bike shop and spare parts are available everywhere.
